Somatic Experiencing®
I offer online sessions for Somatic Experiencing®. These are sessions in which we offer attunement and care to your embodied story. I will help offer tools for you to walk through stories of trauma while also growing your awareness of pleasure and vitality. I am currently taking on Somatic Experiencing® clients!
Note: Although I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington- Somatic Experiencing® is not psychotherapy, or mental health counseling and therefore is self-pay. Doing Somatic Experiencing® sessions with me does not put us in a therapeutic relationship. These are sessions that offer support for you to integrate into a new relationship with your body.
Consultation
I provide professional consultation to individuals and organizations desiring to develop somatic skills for engaging topics of religious trauma, purity culture, and anti-racism.
Supervision
I am an approved supervisor in the state of Washington. I help newly graduated students find their voice as a practitioner. I specialize in modalities that are somatic/body focused. My supervision theory focuses on the body-mind of the practitioner through growing awareness of sensations, emotions, images, and impulses that arise within their practice. My supervision focuses on individual and collective trauma. This means that I integrate an LGBTQ+ affirming and anti-racist lens in my work. I engage unconscious and conscious bias with supervisees as we work to a create sustainable, ethical, and equitable practice together.
Individual Psychotherapy
I am currently taking on clients who want to focus on somatic ways of engaging their body-mind. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a initial consultation to see if us working together may be a good fit.
Fees
I am not in-network and do not take insurance; however, I can provide you with a superbill for Individual Therapy and you can ask your insurance for potential reimbursement. My fee is $170.00/50-minute session.
Questions to ask your insurance before we get started include:

Cancellation and Scheduling
Because the therapeutic relationship is built on consistency and safety- it is important to hold sessions at least once a week. I will reserve a time slot for you and I that will work for each week. I do require a 72-hour notice in case of any absences, and without a 72-hour notice I will still charge for the session.
I’d love to hear from you!
